Packaging
Our range of jewellery and some hair accessories are dispatched in black gift boxes and our tiaras in postal boxes wrapped in acid free tissue paper. Unlike other internet companies we go the extra mile to ensure your tiara and jewellery arrive safely with you.
Postage Prices

The above postal prices ensure that your items has adequate insurance cover will in transit.
For items posted in the UK, orders under £39 will be sent via 1st Class Recorded Delivery, orders over this amount will be sent by Next Day Special Delivery to ensure you have adequate insurance cover. Please note this does not mean same day dispatch, see dispatch time below.
Please note for customers outside the UK import duties and tax are payable by the customer.
Dispatch Time
If you have ordered manufactured tiaras or bridal jewellery they will be dispatched within 2 working days. If items are marked in stock, then they are ready to be dispatched. If there are any problems we will contact you by email in the first instance.
If you have order handcrafted tiaras and jewellery (if there are options on the product page then the item is handcrafted) then delivery may take up to 21 days at busy periods. If you need your item before then, please contact us and we will try to arrange this.
Returns
If you are unhappy with your item you are entitled to return it within 7 days of receiving it. You must email first before returning an item or it will not be accepted and automatically returned to sender. Items must arrive in the same condition as they left with all packaging. The buyer is responsible for return postage and only the cost of the item not the original postage will be reinbursed. You can return your items to 23 Station Road, Bamber Bridge, Preston, PR5 6QR.
Please note that handcrafted items are exluded from our standard returns policy as they are made to order to your requirements. If you do wish to return a handmade item then a 50% fee will be charge as these items can not be resold. This includes all items where a choices of metal colour, crystal type etc. are available. Please contact me to discuss. (please note this only applies to orders received after 22nd January 2009)
At Wedding and Gems we protect our employees and believe that they should not be exposed to abuse (written or verbal) and they have our full support in terminating contact with threatening or abusive individuals.
